Lyn Harrison
Director
Lyn is of Ngati Porou descent and is an experienced recruitment and communications strategist with a long work record in both the private and public sectors. Lyn held senior management positions in communications in the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Maori Development during a time of significant restructuring in both sectors.
Prior to joining the public sector in 1992 Lyn was immersed in Maori developmental projects, which spanned 25 years. She has extensive Maori networks and has pioneered many successful approaches involving agencies and organisations seeking to establish links with iwi, hapu and whanau groups across the country.
Lyn’s expertise spans diverse sectors including Executive Recruitment, Health, Education, Maori Affairs, Maori Language and Broadcasting.
Lyn has a Masters in Business Administration and a Diploma in Business Administration from Victoria University of Wellington and completed the Corporate Public Affairs Institute Programme at the Melbourne Business School in 1997.
Marama Steele
Consultant
Marama has worked in Maori Affairs Policy since 2004, and has since built an extensive network of analysts and advisors working throughout the public sector. She has a strong research background and was primarily involved in Maori Language and Broadcasting Policy. She has been involved in numerous inter-agency groups and projects where a large focus of her engagement was relationship management. Marama has also managed the Ahuwhenua Trophy since 2013, and is deeply connected in to a dedicated primary industries Maori agribusiness network. Prior to entering the public sector she completed her Bachelor of Arts at Victoria University of Wellington in 2003.
Marama joined Te Atahaia in 2008.

Aroha specializes in diagnosing complex issues, designing solutions, and leading transformation through strategic planning and data-driven action.
